  19. I've noticed that when I "log session this.txt" under edit 190 that the file
  20. record format type under VMS has changed from
  21.  
  22. These are the file attributes from 5A(189)
  23.  
  24. OLD_FILE.PRN;1                            File ID:  (17226,34,0)       
  25. Record format:      Stream_LF, maximum 82 bytes
  26. Record attributes:  Carriage return carriage control
  27.

  29. These are the file attributes from 5A(190)
  30.  
  31. NEW_FILE.PRN;1                            File ID:  (17500,18,0)       
  32. Record format:      Stream, maximum 82 bytes
  33. Record attributes:  Carriage return carriage control
  34.

  36. All the log files have a <cr> at the start of the lines and the stream record
  37. format causes and extra linefeed on the printed output.
  38.  
  39. What changed the record format from stream_lf to Stream and why?
  40.  
  41. Any easy way around this?
